A Washington National Park Wedding. Laurel and Benton told me in their very first email that their relationship was cosmic. Sharing the same birthday, childhood pet names and lived only a few blocks from each other in LA while never crossing paths before meeting in Nashville together. (I came to find out later that Benton was an acquaintance of the women who foster my rescue dog Milo before I came to adopt him too!)
Laurel is a food photographer and Benton a musician, both of whom’s talents and crafts showed themselves all throughout the day and throughout their friends & family. As the sun went down and the stars came out the entire evening’s performances were put on by the guests — Benton’s bandmates rocking out to the bride, Laurel’s brother getting front and center on the mic and even the bride herself singing until quiet hours kicked in and they had to cut the powered music and hunker down in the cabins for the night.
